It has been announced that the top three European clubs from the first season of the Champions League will play each other in the competition’s knockout round.
It has been a controversial season, with both the teams of Serie A and the Portuguese side PSG going out on top of the group stages and now two more sides will be drawn.
The final group will be played on March 14th, with the winners advancing to the knockout stage and the runners-up facing the quarter-final stage.
If the teams make it to the quarter final, they will face each other at the first leg of the second round, which will be a one-off.
There are four groups with two play-offs and the final will be held on April 4th.
While the two sides will play in the first round of the competition, the teams that advance to the last 16 will face off in the group stage.
